Who is responsible

Sanctuary Insurance Company is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. For any question about your information, or to make any request below, contact us at info@sanctuary.co.zw.

What we collect

This site has no server or database behind it. Every "contact us" or "sign up" action on this site opens your own email application with a message addressed to Sanctuary, so you can review and send it yourself. We do not receive, store, or process anything you type before you choose to send that email through your own inbox.

We currently run no visit analytics or tracking of any kind on this site. If that changes, for example if we later add privacy-first, cookieless analytics to count visits, this notice will be updated first and the line below will describe exactly what was added.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use what you send only to respond to you and to run Sanctuary Insurance Company. Where the law asks for a lawful basis, ours is your consent when you choose to contact us, and our legitimate interest in replying and keeping the site working.

Who we share it with

We keep your information within Sanctuary Insurance Company and the service provider that hosts this site for us, Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes traffic to serve the site's pages and files; it does not receive the content of any email you choose to send us, since that travels directly from your own email application to ours. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It is built entirely from static pages with no login, no shopping cart, and no tracking pixels, so there is nothing to accept or manage. You can confirm this at any time in your browser's cookie settings.

How long we keep it

We do not hold anything you send through this site, since every message goes from your own inbox to ours by email and is then subject to our normal email retention, as long as needed to respond, then removed.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the information we hold about you,
• correct it if it is wrong,
• delete it,
• stop using it.

Email info@sanctuary.co.zw and we will act on it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to POTRAZ, the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, the authority for data protection under the Cyber and Data Protection Act, 2021.

Keeping it safe

The site runs on reputable hosting with HTTPS, so traffic between you and the site is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send.

Where your data is handled

This site is served from Cloudflare Pages, which operates a global network, so page requests may be processed on servers outside Zimbabwe. Cloudflare maintains recognised data protection safeguards. Any message you choose to email us is handled by our own mail provider, not by this website.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we update this notice and change the date at the top.
